( The Development and Analysis of Conscious Machines )

XML Description of the Predicted Phenomenology of the Network

Predictions were made about phenomenology of the neural network using Tononi's (2004), Metzinger's (2003) and Aleksander's (2005) theories of consciousness for each of the time steps in Analysis Run 1 and Noise Run 1. The motivation for using XML to describe the predicted phenomenology of the network is given in Chapter 4, Section 4.4. The method for generating the XML files and a detailed discussion of the results can be found in Chapter 7, Section 7.9.

NOTE: Firefox and Internet Explorer should display these XML files correctly. Try downloading them and viewing them in a text editor, such as Crimson Editor (not Notepad), if you have problems with a different browser.
